Ferrari 430 Scuderia in Frankfurt International Motor Show

Ferrari 430 Scuderia in Frankfurt International Motor Show
by Evander Klum
A new Ferrari model, the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, is now on glorious display at the Frankfurt International Motor Show. The vehicle was actually a special series model conceptualized from the F430. It is an extremely high performance beast as a two-seater Berlinetta. The technology used was derived from Formula 1, making the model part of the F430 and F430 Spider in Ferrari's eight-cylinder model range. Michael Schumacher, who has been part of its development at different stages, officially unveiled this newest Ferrari model.
This year has been an impressive time for Ferrari, as they were able to attain an aggressive financial perspective. It has been justified with the 14% increase in their revenues by the first half of the year. And, it is also expected to rise up to 15% at the end of the year. Among the largest markets for the automaker have been North America, Germany, Italy, UK, France, Switzerland and Japan. The said results have proven Ferrari's exceptional high standard craftsmanship at Maranello -- a standard that of which gave rise in Ferrari's achievement for "Best Place to Work in Europe 2007".
Though Ferrari vehicles are in fact expensive, they are in demand. That is because those luxury products provide exclusivity to the individuals who could afford them. Ferrari has the evident potential to outwit most of the recent car models these days, and it certainly isn't just a typical car with Volvo fuel door hinge, with such strategy to gain the customers' loyalty.
With Ferrari's interest to give back to its customers, they opted to provide a wider range of services to their enthusiasts. Some of which were introduced at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. Included were: the Ferrari Classiche division which safeguards the future of historic and vintage Ferraris; the Corse Clienti (Client Racing) division which organizes track activities and our single-series championships; the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalization Programme, now supported by a sophisticated Car Configurator; Financial Services which offers clients a range of personalized financing options for everything from GTs to F1s, and a whole plethora of new advantages to the 430 Scuderia clients; the Ferrari Owners' Clubs plus the Ferrari Owners' Site with its own array of exclusive services.
As with the Carrozzeria Scaglietti Personalization Programme, four distinct areas are provided, including Racing and Track, Exteriors and Colours, Interiors and Materials, and Equipment and Travel.
Under the 430 Scuderia's hood, an evolution of the F430's 90° V8 engine is found. It has been modified to attain about 114 hp/L to 118 hp/L. There has been an optimization in the inlet ducts and exhaust system. It was adopted from the exhaust geometries derived from the F430 Challenge.
A new piston design gave way for the increase in the 430 Scuderia's compression ratio reaching up to 11:88:1.
The 430 Scuderia is equipped with the F1-SuperFast2, an evolution of the F1 gearbox. It reduces the gear-shifting time to 60 ms. And, it is the fastest time in the Prancing Horse range and the lowest overall in any automated-manual gearbox. It is integrated with E-Diff2 and F1-Trac system, which demonstrate the 430 Scuderia's links to the track. They offer 40% more acceleration compared to traditional traction and stability control system.
The great impression on the 430 Scuderia's braking system has been boasted by the featured CCM (carbon ceramic material) discs. Together with 6-pot calipers, it provides blistering performance and consistently efficient braking in prolonged track use.
Aside from aerodynamics, the 430 Scuderia comes with astonishing style and personalization. The weight has been reduced with the extensive use of carbon-fibre in several parts and bodywork components. This turns the Ferrari model as an absolute sporty car with luxury and prestige.

Yes Andrew Fox is a 26 year old drop out from Ireland who is well known in the Internet Marketing Circles. He normally keeps a very low profile that is until now.
This year he has decided to come out into the open and give a selected few who wish to join his membership to a special click bank affiliate club.
He has refused lots of offers to speak at various seminars all over the world and also turned down the money that goes with it.
What he is doing is opening up this special limited cb affiliate membership to tutor people who would like to learn how he does it. It will be open from 18/09/2007.

Ferrari - The Ultimate Driving Machine

Ferrari - The Ultimate Driving Machine
by Ivan Cuxeva Jr
When we hear someone talking about "Ferrari" the first thing that comes to mind is money. Ferrari S.p.A is an Italian sports car manufacturer, this company started by sponsoring drivers and race cars and in its origins it was never thought of or intended to manufacture their own line of high performance/quality vehicles.
This company doesn't count with the vast history other companies such as Ford count with but it nevertheless counts with an extremely high reputation, top quality standards and well known "super cars".
Today, Ferrari is a symbol of wealth among those who possess such outstanding driving machines. Price tags on these vehicles as we all know, are equivalent to full mortgages and in some cases even more. This company has been known by its active participation in Formula One racing where it has earned great status throughout the years of success.
Ferrari, as a company has been voted as one of the best companies to work for in Europe by the Financial Times, which is a British international business newspaper which comes in second to the Wall Street Journal. The founder of the company was Enzo Ferrari who died at the age of 90, in fact, one of the top models among Ferrari was named after himself "The Ferrari Enzo".
In Formula One, Ferrari is one of the oldest teams in the championship as well as one of the most successful, it holds several Formula one Records and fourteen World drivers championship titles. Among the most recognized drivers Ferrari had in their team we have: Felipe Massa (from Brazil), Michael Schumacher (Germany), Luigi Chinetti (Italy), Alain Prost (France), Eddie Irvine (Ireland), Rubens Barrichello (Brazil), Kimi Raikkonen (Finland), among many others.
Around mid 80's Ferrari classified cars according to their engine displacement such as: V6, V8 and V12; furthermore Ferraris were also classified according to their body style such as:
- "M" which stands for "modificata" meaning modified, an example of this type of car is the 575 Maranello. - "GBT" which are closed berlinettas or coupes. - "GTS" which are convertibles recently using the sufix "spider". Some examples of such vehicles are: F355 Spider (going from 0-100km in 4.7 seconds) and the Ferrari 360 Spider which can go from 0-62 mph in just 4.3 seconds using its 90 degree V8 F131 engine.
Examined from every angle, Ferrari as a brand, company and vehicle; is and will be a synonym of power, status and quality.

Lamborghini - A Ferrari Killer?

Lamborghini - A Ferrari Killer?
by Ivan Cuxeva Jr
Just like when talking about Ferrari, Lamborghini projects a clear image of power and wealth to those who own one of these super vehicles. This is an Italian company founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini in 1963, so it can be said that this car manufacturing company is fairly new, but it has kept an excellent quality and performance record which rivals that of Ferrari.
Unlike Ferrari's founder (Enzo Ferrari), Lamborghini's founded did not have a passion for racing cars like Enzo did, quite the contrary, Ferruccio Lamborghini had a tractor factory!. This tractor factory was indeed the financial base used to create the car company Lamborghini.
The origins of the company as told by Ferruccio Lamborghini's son is quite amazing. It turns out that Ferruccio went to meet Enzo Ferrari at his factory to complain about he quality of the clutch in the Ferrari 250 GT which he owned at the time (this is a sports car model of the 1950's). Enzo Ferrari then sent him away by telling him to go drive tractors because he didn't know how to drive cars. Lamborghini then had his Ferrari's clutch dismantled and realized that the clutch manufacturer was the same company which provided the clutches for his tractors!, Lamborghini then found a spare part in his warehouse which the thought might solve the problem and voila!, it did the job indeed. Ever since, Lamborghini became a dissatisfied Ferrari client and aimed to beat Ferrari in his own game.
Ferruccio then decided that his cars would have a V12 engine so he hired Giotto Bizzarrini who worked under Ferrari's engine development team in the past.
And as it turns out, Ferrari and Lamborghini are two automotive groups which are considered rival companies, and equivalents in quality as well as price.
Ever since its creation, Lamborghini has experienced continuous sales growth. It's cars are among the most powerful, expensive and exclusive in the world, they feature several exclusive characteristics such as high tech V10 - V12 engines, carbon fiber construction and custom styling by the most prestigious automotive designers such as: Franco Scaglione, Zagato, Marcello Gandini, etc.
Among the most recent popular models produced by this company we have: the V12 Lamborghini Diablo reaching a maximum speed of 330km/h; the V12 Lamborghini Murcielago; the V10 Gallardo; the V12 Murcielago LP640 and last but not the least the one of a kind Lamborghini Reventon debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Auto show. This vehicle manufacturer is without a doubt one of the best in the world.

Ferrari Win British Grand Prix

Ferrari Win British Grand Prix
by Roger Munns
Formula One rookie Lewis Hamilton took third in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, while Finnish driver Kimi Raikkonen took first for the second time in a row since the previous week's fortuitous win at Magny-Cours in France. Up until then, hotshot Hamilton gave both teammates and competitors more than a run for their money ever since he shot out to the lead since the start of the 2007 F1 racing circuit.
While Hamilton has continued to inspire not only his teammates for the Mercedes-McLaren team, he lost a bit of momentum with Raikkonen's lead last week, and then again this past weekend. The Silverstone track, just over three miles in length, and one that offers sixty not particularly difficult laps, offered Raikkonen the chance to once again take the lead position as Hamilton fell behind during the first round of pit stops. Still, while Ferrari has gained some points with their last two wins, Hamilton still leads the pack with 12 points over his Mercedes-McLaren teammate, Fernando Alonso, who stands in second place.
The British Grand Prix, raced at Silverstone in Northhamptonshire, is one of the oldest traditions in the racing world, seconded only by the Spanish Grand Prix that began in the 1920's. Though the British Grand Prix was raced for years on the Donnington Park circuit, Silverstone has been wowing crowds since 1950. The track, renovated in 1991, is somewhat tamer than it used to be, and current contracts will offer the F1 racing world Grand Prix events through to 2009.
The last half dozen Grand Prix races have seen fierce competition between the leaders of 2007's Grand Prix drivers, including Hamilton and Alonso, driving for Mercedes, and Raikkonen and Massa, driving for Ferrari. The teams have battled for the lead since the Australian race at Melbourne and the Monaco Grand Prix, as well as more recent battles in the United States, France and now Hamilton's native Britain. Germany is next on the list and fans are waiting to see how long it will take Hamilton to regain his first or second place wins that they have grown accustomed to.
Raikkonen's most recent win now puts him one point ahead of his teammate, Felipe Massa, but he's still almost 20 points behind Hamilton for the lead. Raikkonen was quoted after the race as saying, "Once we knew we had enough fuel, I was able to close on Lewis and try to overtake him. But we knew he was coming in, so didn't take too much of a risk hopefully, the championship is not over. It's still going to be a long season."
Raikkonen may be right, with upcoming races still scheduled in Turkey, Italy, Belgium and China, to finish the 2007 Formula One circuit in Brazil in October. Plenty of time to continue to thrill crowds and fans carefully watching the awesome rise of Hamilton as he continues in his efforts to beat records and encourage both teammates and competitors to give their best in a truly inspiring F1 season to date.

Ferrari: The History of an Italian Legend

Ferrari: The History of an Italian Legend
by Janette Vince
Ferraris are one of the most recognizable symbols of wealth and status in the world. Their history starts with Enzo Ferrari, the company’s founder. He never wanted to build racecars - "he wanted to race himself.
Instead, Ferrari founded his company, Scudiera Ferrari, as a sponsorship company for racecar drivers. Originally independent, it soon became a division of Alfa Romeo.
During World War II, Alfa Romeo was taken over by Mussolini as part of the war effort. Ferrari left Alfa Romeo, but his company was forced to help the war effort by selling aircraft parts and machine tools.
Ferrari moved his factory to Meranello, where he started making racecars. The racing teams he sponsored became influential in racing from the end of World War II. He also began to make commercial sports cars to support his racing business.
Fiat bought a small share of the company in 1965. In 1969, they increased their share to 50%. Ferrari stayed on as managing director until the early 70’s. He died in 1988, at the age of 90.
Enzo Ferrari was known for his eccentricities, including his famous contempt for his commercial customers. He was upfront about the fact that he only built and sold commercial cars to fund the racing end of his business. Ferrari claimed to dislike his customers because they bought his cars for the status symbol, not for performance.
Fiat increased their stake in the company to 90% in 1988, after the founder’s death. Today, Fiat has an 85% share in the company. Enzo’s second son, Piero, owns 10% of the company and acts as Vice President.
Today, Enzo Ferrari’s cars live on as symbols of wealth and status, and his racecars continue to make an impact in the world’s most prestigious racing competitions.
